The Manager of Project Controls leads a geographically diverse team supporting growth and tactical projects across multiple business units. In this role, you will partner with project managers, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate tracking and communication of project financials, schedules, and milestones. Through clear communication and strong stakeholder relationships, you will drive consistent project controls standards, reliable insights, and improved project outcomes.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
Manages the recruitment, training, and development of highly skilled project controls professionals to build and sustain team capability
Develops and maintains effective working relationships with key leaders and internal stakeholders to understand business drivers and priorities and ensure team activities are aligned with organizational needs
Oversees the activities of team members to ensure strong performance, accountability, and timely resolution of critical issues
Implements consistent work processes, tools, and procedures to increase project execution efficiency and effectiveness across the area in support of enterprise objectives
Establishes and maintains effective project controls deliverables to ensure projects stay on track while providing accurate, timely status reports and forecasts

Education/Years of Experience:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business related field from an accredited institution and seven (7) years of experience in project controls, engineering, operations, project management and/or business development
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, technical, or business field from an accredited institution and ten (10) years of industry experience in project controls/project management and leadership experience
Other Requirements:
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
Proven experience managing teams, with formal and/or informal leadership expertise
Preferred: Familiar with risk evaluation procedures and applications (Monte Carlo simulations and critical path planning) as well as project financials and capital cost management strategies
Preferred: Proficient in Project Life Cycle (Stage-gate, Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid)
Preferred: Experience with Primavera, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software
Preferred: PMP (Project Management Professional) or AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) certifications
Up to 20% travel
