As a Lead Platform Engineer you will build and support highly scalable, available, and best performing tools to evaluate, monitor and manage the merchant services portfolio. This demanding environment will require you to be an enthusiastic critical analytical person who can balance platform stability and resiliency along with the best engineering practices and solutions.
What you will do:
- Engineer horizontal platform products and solutions to operate large-scale high-frequency, low-latency applications in cloud and on prem.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines automating the build and deployment processes.
- Hands on engagement in design, development, and operation of all automation requirements and workflows to support development, testing, and deployment.
- Engage with multiple engineering teams to drive discussion, establish standards, build consensus and see efforts through completion.
- Expertise in monitoring tools like Dynatrace to monitor infrastructure resources and processes during the entire lifecycle of applications and platforms.
- Collaborate with software development teams and continue to iterate over CI/CD improvements and ensure efficiency, quality, and resiliency.
- Embed security best practices, enforce code quality standards, ensure test coverage, and integrate unit testing seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as code (IaC) standards and templates. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and best practices.
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in Cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- 3+ years of experience with Repository Management Tools like Git, or equivalent, and CI/CD Pipelines.
- 3+ years of solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining container platforms (e.g., PAS/TAS, PKS/TKGI, GKE, IBM Redhat OpenShift, ARO, ROSA).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience using scripting languages such as Python, BASH, and PowerShell.
- 3+ years of experience utilizing CI/CD concepts and tools such as Git, Gitlab, Harness, Jenkins, etc.
- 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience
What would be great to have:
- Experience with Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience in the day-to-day activities and processes of Agile software Product Development Lifecycles such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Experience with security implementations such as Sona-type, Web Inspect, or Fortify.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

Salary Range
$128,000.00 - $216,000.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
