Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of RF systems laboratories, ensuring alignment with mission objectives, and supporting the development, integration, and testing of advanced airborne RF systems.

Ensure RF research, development, and testing environments run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with hardware and software teams to develop test procedures and troubleshoot system-level issues for RF lab systems.

Contribute to system requirements development, interface definitions, and architecture documentation.

Assist in planning and executing laboratory test events, including data collection and post-test analysis.
-
Provide systems engineering support for requirements verification and test procedure development.
-
Maintain lab access lists and assist with media control and inventory management.
-
Oversee lab hardware control, including maintaining and managing lab hardware inventory.

Perform regular safety inspections of lab environments and address any identified issues.

Maintain special test equipment and lab hardware, providing troubleshooting support as needed.

Procure replacement hardware and software licenses required to sustain lab infrastructure.

Leverage Digital Transformation (DTx) methodologies, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Agile product development practices, to optimize engineering processes and outcomes.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience in RF engineering, signal processing and/or embedded systems for mission critical systems

Ability to integrate hardware and software, develop test plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, and verify system requirements

Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:

Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years

Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred)

Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage timelines, and communicate complex technical concepts to non-specialists
-
Experience managing a team with cost and schedule requirements and/or Earned Value Management
-
Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps).

Skilled in diagnosing and resolving RF and system power issues
-
MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
