What You'll Be Doing
- Participate in the organization's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, accurately assessing financial performance, appropriately communicating relevant information, and ensuring prompt delivery of results to leadership within set deadlines.
- Provide valuable insights that directly influence strategic decision-making processes with strong emphasis on supporting our corporate, ready-mix concrete and asphalt businesses.
- Support collaborative efforts with various teams to work towards the development of comprehensive reports to support ongoing initiatives
- Assist in the development of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring accurate/reasonable targets are set with quality data inputs
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
What Are We Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance / or related field
- 0-5 years in financial analysis, data analytics or accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with developed writing skills for reports, executive presentations, and business correspondence
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid, dynamic business environment with regular collaboration across finance, operations, and leadership teams. Occasional travel to regional locations may be required depending on business needs.
