Leidos is seeking an experienced IBM MaximoDeveloper to design, build, integrate, and support enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions using IBM Maximo. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, architects, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality Maximo solutions that improve asset reliability, maintenance efficiency, and operational performance.
The challenge:
- Design, develop, and configure solutions within IBM Maximo EAM / MAS Manage
- Build and maintain automation scripts, workflows, escalations, and integrations
- Customize Maximo applications using Java, Jython, JavaScript, and Maximo frameworks
- Develop and support Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) interfaces (REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, enterprise messaging)
- Create and maintain BIRT reports and data queries
- Perform data migration, cleansing, and validation activities
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and provide ongoing support
- Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in system upgrades, patching, and environment deployments
- Ensure adherence to security, governance, and development best practices
- Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures
- On-call rotation responsibilities, including occasional weekend work.

What Sets You Apart: (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree with two plus (2+) years of prior relevant experience or Masters degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience. May consider additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with Maximo Application Designer, Automation Scripts (Jython/JavaScript), Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), Workflows and Escalations
- Experience with Java development and web services
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server)
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications
- Familiarity with source control and CI/CD practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and containerized deployments
- Knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with BIRT reporting
- Familiarity with asset management, utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing, or transportation
- Experience with mobile solutions (Maximo Mobile / Anywhere)
- Exposure to integration tools (Kafka, MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.)
- IBM Maximo certifications
