CVS is seeking an operational excellence leader for our Orlando, FLlocation. This roleis responsible forbeing a key member of the team to lead and drive projects and culture to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity of the operations. The rolewill andbe responsible forthe continuous improvement and support improvement of the key KPIs at the facility. Some specific responsibilities will bemaintaininglabor management systems (LMS), lean implementation, and process design/improvement. Work to be the glue between operations, network optimization, and automation to drivea clear visiontogether to improve the value stream. Role will be expected to travel10-20%to other DCs.
Safety, Quality & Delivery:This role willbe responsible fordelivering capacity improvements to the operations byidentifyingand executing kaizens to remove bottlenecks, increase storage density, andultimately meetcustomer demand. Responsible foridentifyingand improving safety at the site throughuseof technology, layout, improved ergonomics, and process. Responsible for helping to deliver world class quality by supporting sites with problem solving techniques to get to root cause and problems are made visible to solve.
Process Engineering:Appliesengineering methodologies/tools such as product slotting, studying labor standards (time studies), layouts and optimization of flow, and resource modeling to improve processes and drive waste reduction for distribution and inventory control operations.Help lead and contribute to site strategy and execution of process improvement initiatives with a primary focus on picking operations (full / split case), replenishment setup to minimize travel, and JIT inventory replenishment to drive higher throughput.OptimizingWMS and LMS standards to ensurebestprocess controls.
Lean:This role will be looked at to be the site expert in lean manufacturing and will support the teammeetbusinessobjectives. Manages and completes high impact CI projects across the operation that lead to improved business results. Assesses CI initiatives and provides input and recommendations on future activities.Demonstratea high levelof competency inwiderange of lean tools.Coachesemployees in the use and implementation of CI & Lean principles. Support facilitation and execution Kaizen Events through all stages (charter ideation / creation, pre-work identification and completion, delivery of results in Kaizen week, regular follow up and follow through on sustainment).Improving effectiveness of tier meetings,establishing/improving standard work, value stream mapping, creating a shared vision, implementing poke-yoke, andcoaching process owners on how to use lean methods to achieve operational excellence.
Data Engineering:Contribute or lead changes and projects related to dataengineeringadding data collection where not present. Translate data to information to aid in decision making and problemsolvingincluding but not limited to improved traceability, performance dashboards, performance reports, or Andon/escalation systems at the site. Will strongly use data to support and drive process and performance managementdecisionwith the operations team. Responsible formaintainingstandards to drive informed decision making.
Project & Change Management:The individual willbe responsible forplanning and executing multiple projects at the same time andutilizegood project management skills by managing risk, understanding critical path and dependencies to meet project goals on time. Thisindividual and kaizen partners must have robustfollow throughon changes to ensure success. Be able to see opportunities for improvement, put together a financial business case and project plan toinitiatethe change
Labor and Warehouse Management Systems– Will be the site owner or co-owner of engineered labor standards at the site ensuring accuracy and fairness of the standards. Withing the labor management system (LMS) and warehouse management system (WMS),willbe responsible forupdating configurations tooptimizeprocesses and labor standards.

-2+yearsexperiencein WMS, ERP, MES, or LMS systems and database structure
-2+ years ofdemonstratedsuccess in managing projects
-1+ years running operations (ex: operations manager)
-1+years experienceleading teams(exempt or non-exempt)
-Certified instandards basedtime and motion study systems such as -MOST and MTM
-Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
-Manhattan or INFOR WMS system experience
-Create project budgets and financial justifications related to capital expenditure equipment/projects
-Comfortable creating and presenting concepts within team of direct peers as well as senior level management
-Experience working with a larger corporation and counterparts in other remote locations
-Should be able to work with a multidisciplinary approach in problem solving and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
-Strong interpersonal & communication skills, self-motivated, customer oriented, multi-tasking, and successful at managing multiple priorities and tasks
-Good verbal and written communications skills in English
-Strong analytical thinking andproblem solvingskills
Education:
-Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering required -OR- unrelated engineering/science degree plus4+ years ofdemonstratedsuccess and experience in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operational excellence in manufacturing/warehouse operationsor 6+ years without degree

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
