The Role:
Come build the future of self-driving at GM. The Autonomous Vehicle Launch team is responsible for configuring, executing, and monitoring our autonomous driving applications. We develop onboard services that orchestrate on-vehicle activities across distributed computers. Our systems are among the first to start when a vehicle powers on and the last to shut down during power off. Our team interfaces with production vehicles, manufacturing lines, developer environments, cloud services, and more.
As a Tech Lead Manager in the AV Launch team, you’ll develop embedded applications and frameworks that provision, execute, instrument, and monitor our self-driving stack. You’ll collaborate with other teams to engineer onboard workflows and use cases. The systems you build will be deployed onto vehicles, hardware benches, and in simulations. Your efforts will directly influence how other teams design and build the next generation of self-driving software at GM.

Remote/Hybrid: This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of [Mountain View, Detroit, Warren, Milford], you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.
