Cyber Risk Mgmt - Advisor I
About your role:
As a Cyber Risk Management - Advisor I, you will be instrumental in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks across our organization. Your expertise will help safeguard our clients' data and ensure the resilience of our financial services. You will collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to innovative risk management practices, contributing directly to our mission of providing secure financial solutions.
What you'll do:
- Perform cybersecurity risk assessments on applications, infrastructure, third parties, and projects using established risk management frameworks and methodologies.
- Analyze security controls, vulnerabilities, and threats to determine inherent and residual risk, and document clear, actionable findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to develop, track, and validate remediation plans and risk treatment options aligned with risk appetite and policies.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of cyber risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership, including trends and insights on key risk indicators.
- Support continuous improvement of cyber risk processes, standards, and tools, including playbooks and assessment templates.
- Partner with information security, compliance, audit, and enterprise risk teams to ensure alignment across regulatory, policy, and control requirements.

Experience you'll need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, technology risk, or related risk management functions in a complex environment.
- Experience analyzing technical vulnerabilities, security controls, and threat information and translating them into business-focused risk statements and recommendations.
- Experience using governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) or risk tracking tools to document, monitor, and report on cyber risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, Security+, or equivalent combination of certification and experience.
- Experience in financial services, payments, or other highly regulated industries with exposure to regulatory expectations for cybersecurity and technology risk.
- Experience supporting cyber risk reporting and metrics for senior leadership or governance committees.
How you'll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
