What does a successful full stack .Net developer do at Fiserv?
A successful full stack .Net Developer at Fiserv designs, builds, and supports secure, high-quality applications that align to business goals and client needs. You work end-to-end across modern UI and scalable backend services, partnering with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions. You improve delivery speed and code quality by applying CI/CD, Agile practices, and AI-assisted development tools responsibly.
What you will do?
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of full-stack software solutions that support Fiserv business goals and client outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and convert them into clear technical specifications and delivery plans.
- Perform hands-on coding, testing, and debugging to ensure application performance, stability, and maintainability across front end and backend components.
- Maintain and enhance existing codebases, drive peer reviews, and raise engineering standards through clean patterns and continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance, including effective use of AI coding tools (for example, using GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio to accelerate .NET UI development, generate documentation/tests, and refactor for maintainability).
What you must have?
- 6+ years of software development experience delivering production applications.
- 6+ years of backend development experience with .NET/C# (Java acceptable as an additional backend language).
- 4+ years of modern front-end development with JavaScript (React preferred) and 2+ years with CI/CD + DevOps practices.
- 2+ years working in Agile teams.
What would be nice to have:
- 2+ years of experience in financial services or payments technology.
- 1+ year using AI-assisted development tools (for example, GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT Code Interpreter) to generate functions, tests, and documentation.
- 1+ year applying AI tools to improve code quality (for example, refactoring suggestions, performance improvements, and establishing cleaner UI patterns across large .NET projects)
Salary Range
$97,500.00 - $164,400.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
