The Veteran Experienced Talent (VET) Program is a 6-week direct hire program designed to connect Veterans with meaningful career opportunities. Candidates are hired as full-time employees and will receive support and coaching aimed at ensuring a smooth transition into Wells Fargo. The program includes three half-day Program Orientations led by the Military Talent Team and Learning & Development Facilitators, five weeks of two-hour networking and professional development sessions, and an assigned program Alumni mentor to ease transition, build networks, and foster camaraderie within the cohort.

In this role, you will:- Service clients by leading a team of Trade Service Representatives
- Act as a back up to the trade service managers, while providing feedback and recommendations to improve less experienced staff
- Provide input to managers on performance and recommendations relative to salary and promotion for less experienced staff
- Analyze the continued satisfaction and retention of existing clients and referral of international banking issues
- Train and coach daily work flow of less experienced staff, resolve routine issues and escalated problems
- Perform issuing, advising and amending of letters of credit, negotiation of letters of credit documents, processing documentary and direct collections in accordance with Trade Services standards
- Present recommendations for identifying opportunities for growth through client referrals and making recommendations to changes in existing policies, practices and procedures
- Develop full working knowledge of complex letter of credit documentation, governing regulations, bank operations and credit risk
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:- 2+ years of Trade Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Service in any branch of the United States military
- Standby Letter of Credit or Demand Guarantee Experience
- Demonstrates the inter-personal skills to identify and appropriately act upon scenarios requiring escalation or further due diligence
- 2 + years in a role with exposure to BSA/AML, Sanctions, and Anti-boycott policies and procedures, and demonstrates an ability to understand and consistently adhere to procedures related to these subjects
- Possess the written and verbal communication skills to provide clear and concise risk escalations
- Possess the skills to create pivot tables, summary graphs, queries within Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrate knowledge of Co-Pilot prompts to analyze data, create presentations, and enable workplace efficiencies
- Working knowledge to SharePoint site development and maintenance
- Create and validate various control reports to ensure transaction processing is working as expected
