Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to lead the GSC Strategic Sourcing Group. This group will be responsible for identifying new potential sources in support of program execution.
What You Will Be Doing
This group collaborates with GSC program teams, Business Development, LM Ventures, Strategic Planning and Advanced Programs to identify new potential domestic and international sources of supply for MFC programs.
This will include understanding supplier capabilities and limitations, willingness to contract with LMMFC, financial viability, etc. of potential sources that align with Supplier Resiliency Plans and broader LMMFC strategic initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead a GSC Strategic Sourcing Team
• Work in collaboration with Advance Programs, Business Development, LM Ventures, Strategic Planning and the GSC Intelligence Group
• Turning multi‑source supplier data into actionable, risk‑aware insights that support:
- Smarter sourcing
- Risk mitigation
- Cost savings
- Strategic partnership development
• Systematically profiling, scoring, and continuously monitoring suppliers
• Communicate and Deliver supplier information to programs for inclusion into supplier bidders lists
• Developing formal and informal partnerships with suppliers
Develop and maintain a repository storing supplier data
• Continuously refine supplier data gathering processes, adopt new analytic tools and methodologies, and proactively identify emerging risks and opportunities

Basic Qualifications:
• Significant experience in Supply Chain management including program knowledge
• Proven Subcontract / Program Management Skills
• Problem solving skills and ability to interface with multiple levels of management and customers both internally and externally
• Ability to recruit, train and develop subordinates
• Must have experience in in developing and executing business/subcontract management strategies
Desired Skills:
• Experience working on or with LMMFC programs
• Experience in supplier strategic sourcing
• Experience building and developing a team of GSC professionals
• Knowledge in all aspects of conducting supplier evaluations including pricing, technical capabilities, manufacturing capabilities, risks, and supplier past performance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
