Not RequiredCollins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Tool Specialist with deep expertise in ECAD systems to support and enhance the engineering tools that enable the design and development of advanced aerospace solutions. In this role, you will lead the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of electrical design tools and workflows, partnering closely with engineering teams to drive efficiency, standardization, and innovation across complex programs.
This is a hybrid position at a major Collins Facilities
What YOU will do:

Effectively manage ECAD data management environment.
-
Debug server logs.
-
Support configuration, customizations, and upgrades of electrical engineering design and simulation software.
-
Identify new tool capabilities and plan development projects.
-
Design, test, implement, document and support technical application solutions for Siemens EDA products.
-
Work with SW developers to ensure scripts/code meet user requirements (enhancements/updates/etc.).
-
Analyze functional specifications for options, feasibility and sustainability.
-
Interface with vendors.
-
Create/update system test cases; conduct unit & integration testing to ensure the defined functionality meets requirements.
-
Lead the development and configuration of workflows and supporting applications.
-
Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
-
Interact with end customers on technical issues which require subject matter expert support. Drive issues to closure.

Develop and facilitate application user training.
-
Meet schedule deadlines and remain within budget.
-
Interact with customers and correctly interpret their needs and requirements.
Qualifications YOU Must Have:
-
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder)

Expertise with Siemens EDA tools (EDM, Xpedition).

Experience with printed circuit board design processes.

Diligent Work ethic.

Work independently or within a team.
Qualifications We Prefer:

Expertise with Siemens Hyperlynx, and Valor NPI.
-
Familiarity with Siemens (Downstream) Blueprint, Dassault Enovia PDM.

Experience with design tool administration.

Work management within an Agile framework.
-
Must also be willing and able to travel (domestic and international) (minimum 10% domestically).

Either possess, or be able to obtain, a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
