Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their mobile device needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various smartphones, accessories, and related technology
- Assist customers with POS (Point of Sale) transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and meet sales goals
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are attractively presented
- Provide knowledgeable support on phone etiquette, helping customers with inquiries or troubleshooting issues
- Support inventory management by participating in stock checks and ensuring products are well-organized and accessible
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product features and benefits in multiple languages (bilingual preferred)
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience, especially in grocery stores or electronics retail environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting is a plus
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
- Ability to perform phone etiquette professionally when assisting customers over the phone or via digital channels
- Enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment
