Overview
The HVAC Chiller Technician III performs maintenance, repairs, and installation of assigned HVAC and refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical, and building systems in accordance with client expectations and requests.
This role requires strong expertise with OEM centrifugal chiller systems and experience working in large commercial and industrial environments. Technicians must be able to operate safely and effectively on complex systems such as those found in large logistics centers, heavy manufacturing facilities, and mission‑critical environments.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust pilots, thermostats, burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches, and controls on electrical systems.
- Use common HVAC tools (multimeters, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, standard hand tools, etc.).
- Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identify maintenance risks on equipment and diagnose electrical/mechanical faults.
- Clean, adjust, repair systems, and perform warranty services.
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Provide technical direction and on‑the‑job training.
- Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
- Assist with customer inquiries.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid, unexpired driver’s license.
- Must possess HVAC license in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Must possess EPA Universal certification credentials.
- Must have refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification.
- Three (3) years of HVAC experience with emphasis on chillers (PM, troubleshooting, and repair).
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an HVAC Journeyman.
