The Large Power Systems Division has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Human Resources Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for directing the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives, providing guidance on HR policies and practices, and fostering a culture of employee engagement, development and safety. You will lead a team of HR & Environmental, Health & Safety professionals to support over 2000 global employees across multiple Large Engine Manufacturing facilities and locations.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborating with senior management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Aligning HR policies and programs for the division which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
- Acting as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
- Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
- Leading team of HR business partners and leaders to collaborate effectively with other Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.
- Lead a team of EHS professionals to develop and implement strategies to improve EHS outcomes, creating a safe work environment.
- Developing and implementing change management methods and materials to facilitate deployment of HR programs and processes within a specific organization.
What You Have:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience desired
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
- Alignment: Knowledge of the importance of collaboration among team members and the ability to enroll stakeholders in communicating and coordinating activities to support the organization's vision and strategies.
- Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
- Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

This position requires a minimum of 30% international travel
