Inventory Planning Analyst
(Spare Parts – Industrial / MRO Environment)

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Planning Analyst to support inventory optimization efforts across a high-SKU industrial spare parts environment. This role will assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels for technical electrical and hydraulic components while supporting service level targets and working capital objectives.
This individual will work closely with the Operations Excellence Manager to analyze demand patterns, monitor system-generated recommendations, and help maintain accurate planning data within Netstock and ERP systems.
This is a hands-on analytical role focused on execution, data integrity, and day-to-day planning support.
Core Responsibilities
Inventory Planning & Analysis
- Analyze demand history and forecast trends for ~20,000 active SKUs.
- Monitor system-generated replenishment recommendations within Netstock.
- Review and validate safety stock levels and reorder points.
- Support classification of SKUs by usage patterns and lead time variability.
- Assist in preventing stockouts of high-impact spare parts.
ERP & System Data Integrity
- Maintain accurate lead time, supplier, and demand data within ERP.
- Support Netstock system configuration updates
- Audit purchase order receipts and ensure data accuracy.
- Identify data discrepancies impacting forecast reliability.
Spare Parts Support (Electrical & Hydraulic)
- Develop familiarity with industrial spare parts including:
- Electrical components (relays, sensors, motors, drives)
- Hydraulic components (valves, fittings, pumps, seals)
- Support criticality classifications and stocking strategy implementation.
- Assist in tracking long-lead international components.
Reporting & Visibility
- Generate weekly inventory health and service level reports.
- Monitor excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
- Track supplier lead time performance.
- Provide analytical support for inventory risk assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Netstock
- 3–5 years inventory planning, supply chain, or materials management experience
- Experience in industrial, MRO, distribution, or manufacturing environments
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling)
- Experience working within ERP systems
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to electrical or hydraulic spare parts
- CPIM (in progress or completed)
- Experience managing mid-to-large SKU portfolios
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
