The role will contribute to engineering execution for high-value, fast-track packages in coordination with multidisciplinary global teams.
Summary Section
We are seeking an experienced Onshore Structural Engineer with strong capabilities in the static and dynamic analysis, design, and verification of onshore structures and foundation systems. The role involves delivering FEED and detailed engineering solutions for pipe racks, equipment and machine foundations, shelter structures, modular structures, skid-mounted units, tank foundations, pile foundations, and shallow foundations. The position requires close interdisciplinary coordination and application of industry-standard structural engineering tools to support the successful execution of onshore oil & gas projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis, design, and verification of onshore structures including pipe racks, equipment and machine foundations, shelter structures, modular structures, skid-mounted units, tank foundations and base structures.
- Carry out structural analysis and design using STAAD Pro CONNECT Edition, including evaluation of operating, environmental, seismic and transportation load conditions.
- Perform static/dynamic analysis and design of machine foundations considering vibration criteria, soil–structure interaction, and equipment operational requirements using MAT3D or equivalent foundation analysis software.
- Design and analyse pile foundations, shallow foundations, and foundation systems to support static and dynamic equipment loads in accordance with project specifications and international design standards.
- Prepare structural design calculations, analysis models, design reports, material take-offs, and engineering documentation in compliance with applicable codes, client standards, and project requirements.
- Prepare and review structural drawings including GA drawings, foundation layouts, reinforcement details, and fabrication drawings to ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and project compliance.
- Review and verify vendor and equipment supplier drawings and data related to equipment loads, machine foundation requirements to ensure structural adequacy and integration within plant facilities.
- Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, piping, mechanical, electrical, and construction disciplines to ensure proper workflow, design integration, and timely project execution.
- Support FEED and Detailed Engineering activities including design optimization, constructability reviews, and resolution of interdisciplinary technical queries.
