Digital, Technology & Distribution (DT&D) oversees the performance of the Cat® Dealer Network, manages the global aftermarket parts distribution network, and leads enterprise-wide inbound and outbound logistics. DT&D also drives the development of digital platforms, data solutions, and enterprise technologies that enable dealers and serve customers across all Caterpillar segments.
DT&D sits at the intersection of technology, data, and operations, enabling scale, connectivity, and exceptional customer experiences across Caterpillar’s global ecosystem.
As Talent Acquisition Manager – CAT Technology, you will lead and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team supporting Caterpillar’s digital, technology, data, and platform organizations within DT&D. You will shape and execute talent strategies that attract scarce, in-demand technology talent—including software engineers, product managers, data and analytics professionals, cybersecurity experts, and digital supply chain specialists.
This role requires deep experience in technology hiring, strong leadership capability, and the ability to operate effectively in a large, matrixed, global enterprise. You will act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, ensuring Caterpillar remains competitive in fast-moving digital talent markets.
What You Will Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Partners focused technology, and tech-enabled operational roles
- Define and execute technology talent acquisition strategies aligned to software engineering, digital product, data, analytics, and platform roadmaps
- Drive innovative employer branding and talent attraction strategies to position Caterpillar as an employer of choice for technology professionals
- Build scalable, proactive pipelines for critical and hard-to-hire digital skillsets using market intelligence and workforce planning insights
- Continuously evolve sourcing, assessment, and selection practices to reflect modern technology hiring expectations and candidate experience standards
- Partner with senior technology and business leaders to understand capability needs, advise on market trends, and shape hiring plans
- Use recruiting analytics, benchmarks, and talent market data to measure effectiveness and improve outcomes
- Ensure compliance with company policies while championing inclusive, equitable, and high-quality hiring practices
What You Will Have:
- Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
- Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
- Customer/Market Focus: Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
- Demonstrated experience leading Talent Acquisition teams supporting technology-driven organizations
- Strong background in hiring for software, automation, autonomy, AI and robotics.
- Proven success in employer branding, talent pipelining, and competitive technology market sourcing strategies
- Experience improving end-to-end recruiting processes and operating models at scale
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate workforce and recruiting analytics into actionable insights
Additional Info:
- This position can be located in Irving, TX or Mossville, IL
- This role requires 5 days a week in office
- Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
