About the Role
The BT Strategy & Operations (BT S&O) Function is seeking a Delivery Enablement Lead to support the planning, execution and operationalization of high impact BT transformation initiatives. This role is an enablement "force multiplier" situated at the intersection of Delivery Excellence, Agile Coaching, and Organizational Change Management.
The Delivery Enablement Lead will evolve the "Operating System" of BT. They will help implement initiatives across the SDLC, Cybersecurity, Operational Excellence, Partner Engagement and AI-driven delivery; ensuring that our internal software delivery practice and IT operations move with the speed and scale required by a global AI platform leader.
Job Responsibilities (not limited to):
1. Delivery Enablement & Transformation Orchestration
Roadmap-to-Execution: Partner to break down the BT Transformation Roadmap into execution plans (e.g. Jira Epics, Stories & Project Tasks) with clear incremental deliverables required to meet the Initiative outcomes and objectives. Own the delivery of execution workstreams as assigned.
Complex Dependency Navigation: Own cross-functional dependencies impacting assigned workstreams by identifying/documenting, coordinating commitment, driving dependency sub-workstream task owners to closure and proactively communicating status to ensure no/low impact on delivery timelines.
Risk Mitigation & Decision Support: Provide high-fidelity transparency to leadership; don't just report risks—present data-driven options and trade-offs to keep high-priority initiatives on track.
2. Lean-Agile Coaching & SDLC Maturity
Agile Maturity: Serve agile coach who institutionalizes Scaled Lean-Agile practices across the SDLC. Move teams beyond "doing Scrum" to achieving true business agility, improved cycle times and increased throughput.
Value Stream Optimization: Conduct Value Stream Mapping analysis to identify waste and friction in the delivery ecosystem.
Continuous Improvement (Kaizen): Apply and coach Lean Six Sigma practices, root cause analysis, Inspect & Adapt sessions, retrospectives to continuously identify and implement IT operational and delivery improvements..
3. Toolchain & AI Innovation
Next-Gen Ecosystem: Partner with IT Service Management, DevOps, and AI/EDATA teams to implement AI features enablement and automation rules within our toolchain (Jira, GitHub, CI/CD, SNOW) in alignment with the Transformation Roadmap and execution plans.
Systems Interoperability: Consult on data integration strategies to ensure that SDLC health, Delivery Progress, Resource/Capacity, IT service performance and Operational Monitoring data is easily visible and can be leveraged for strategic decision making.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
Reporting: Support Delivery Excellence Team executive and program reporting needs.
Training and Presentations: Prepare and lead training and presentations engagements in support of BT transformation.Prepare resources, presentations, playbooks, and lead training that drive the adoption of the transformed ways of operating.
Change Management: Partner with the Change Enablement team to support change management plans that impact Delivery Excellence team workstreams.
About You
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of Agile delivery as a Delivery Team Member, Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
5+ IT service management experience
Advanced Proficiency in Jira capabilities and JQL querying.
Familiarity and experience with a wide range of toolsets across the SDLC, including: architectural design, code/version management and CI/CD, test case management and continuous testing, technical documentation, observability & monitoring, container registry scanners and security SAST/DAST scanning.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to translate complex data or technical concepts into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
Experience presenting to cross-functional partners, with a focus on driving consensus and decision-making.
Confident delivery in both virtual and in-person environments, maintaining high levels of audience engagement and professional demeanor.
PMP, PMI-ACP or Scaled Agile Framework certifications strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or significant related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with PPM and Portfolio Roadmapping tools (eg smartsheets, Asana, MS Project Aha ect).
Expert-level proficiency with google sheets (or excel) in creating and manipulating pivot tables, formula/function based field values and charts.
Familiarity with Incident, change and problem management processes and widely utilized tooling for the associated processes (e.g. ServiceNow, BMC Helix, etc.).
Experience applying lean-six Sigma tools and practices in an IT or continuous improvement context.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $127,800 USD - $191,800 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $121,400 USD - $215,800 USD
