What you´ll do
- Follows all Henkel safety standards and safe work practices, including PPE use, LOTO procedures, and electrical safety requirements.
- Serves as a secondary escalation point for mechanics, independently troubleshooting and leading repairs on batching processes and facility systems (boilers, chillers, HVAC, compressed air, RO, wastewater).
- Installs and executes work on electro‑mechanical systems up to 480V, using hand and power tools for equipment disassembly, diagnostics, repair, and light fabrication.
- Completes preventative maintenance tasks with thorough documentation in CMMS, generating follow‑up work orders and parts requests as needed.
- Performs mechanical and electrical PMs on safety equipment in hazardous areas and supports compliance tasks (wastewater, RO operations, mechanical integrity inspections).
- Supports emergency response, including site evacuations, and acts as the electrical distribution expert during emergencies (e.g., switchgear shutdown).
- Operates PITs, scissor lifts, and supports confined space entry after training; works with contractors, sets up complex equipment, executes engineering tasks, identifies process improvements, and performs other assigned duties, including OT as needed.
