Program Summary
KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
Food Service Helper/Cashiers serve as key members of the food service team. As a Cashier you will be responsible for ringing up military customers using an Aloha Point of Sales system while providing excellent customer service. You will be handling currency, accepting credit cards, and validating customer authorization to dine. You will frequently handle customer questions and aid customers when needed. When assigned as a Helper you will be responsible for the cleaning, sanitation, and general housekeeping for the entire operation. You will be assisting cooks in the preparation and service of meals. The Sultan’s Inn Dining Facility is a fast-paced food service operation that runs 24/7, so you will be working in a shift environment that provides the highest level of customer service around the clock.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Utilize USAF Aloha Point of Sales System to process customer orders.
- Responsible for the security of $200 bank utilized to make change.
- Perform cleaning, sanitation, and housekeeping IAW Tri-Services Food Code.
- Provide support to kitchen cooks during meal preparation and service.
- Replenish service line and serve customers when directed by lead.
- Load and unload subsistence, supplies, and equipment when directed.
- Additional duties as assigned by lead, Dining Facility Manager, supervisor, etc
Basic Qualifications
- Turkish Citizen
- High School Graduate
- Ability to Speak, Read, and Understand Level 3 English
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year Restaurant, Hospitality, or Tourism experience
- Computer skills and/or commercial menu programs
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification
All positions require the applicant to obtain and pass a medical physical that is certified by a doctor.
All positions require a current and favorable Turkish Security background check.
All male candidates must have completed their military service.
