Join the Integrated Biomarker Operations team at a global healthcare leader dedicated to clinical innovation and life-saving research. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the lifecycle of biomarker samples—from collection and processing to final data delivery. Working within the Research Laboratories division, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure deliverables meet rigorous scientific and ethical standards. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee biomarker operation activities, including sample collection, processing, analysis, and final disposition.
- Manage and track logistics-related documentation within internal Project Management Information Systems.
- Proactively monitor project timelines to ensure the team achieves key clinical milestones.
- Load, organize, and maintain critical project data and documents via SharePoint and other internal platforms.
- Maintain effective communication and foster strong working relationships with internal project team members and stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve conflicting needs among key stakeholders to keep clinical trials on track.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously across various clinical trial phases and therapeutic areas.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvement efforts within the operations group.
- Provide general project management and administrative support as needed to ensure operational excellence.
Education
- Required: BA/BS or Master’s degree in a scientific or technical field of study.
- Note: PhD candidates will not be considered for this position.
Experience
- Required: 2–5 years of experience within clinical trials (candidates with a Master’s degree should have no more than 5 years of experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel skills, and professional experience with SharePoint.
- Preferred Background: Industry expertise is highly preferred, though clinical operations experience within a university setting will be considered.
- Therapeutic Areas: Experience in Oncology is preferred; Immunology operations study experience is also a plus.
- Specialized Skills: Previous experience in project coordination, biomarkers, or formal Project Management training.
- Exclusions: This role does not focus on patient recruitment, site management, or lab-based sample testing.
