At Spectrum, you’ll advise on key financial operations while ensuring compliance and accuracy at every stage. Your leadership will support critical business functions and drive operational excellence across the organization, creating lasting impact on our financial integrity.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the accounting team in preparing, reviewing and closing financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations
- Evaluate and manage staff performance while recommending staffing actions to leadership
- Complete assigned workloads promptly, including revenue, capital expenditures, corporate consolidation and audit support
- Communicate effectively with personnel regarding accounting matters within your area of responsibility
- Collaborate on special projects with other team members as needed
- Ensure timely completion of SOX work, including signoffs and documentation
- Monitor compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Sarbanes Oxley requirements and applicable laws
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Experience
- 7+ years of general ledger accounting work experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
Skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English clearly
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Organizational and prioritization skills
- Professional communication with employees, customers and suppliers
- Supervisory and motivational abilities
- Proficiency with 10-key adding machine
- Demonstrated computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access
- Knowledge of accounting theory and procedures
- Familiarity with SAP
