We are seeking a Managing Director–level Senior Engineering Lead to drive the strategy, innovation and delivery of the Inventory Management platform within the Liquid Financing Technology organization.
Key Requirements
- As part of the leadership team for this rapidly expanding business, you will architect and scale a next‑generation inventory platform that underpins our Securities Lending, Repo and broader financing activities across Markets. Central to this mandate is designing a highly automated, data‑driven ecosystem that optimizes inventory movements across entities, leverages AI‑enabled decisioning, and seamlessly integrates with external market venues such as EquiLend and Clearstream.
- You will lead the engineering teams responsible for hosting automated inventory optimizers and enabling algorithmic execution in partnership with our Quant organization. This includes defining and implementing a large‑scale real‑time and historical data platform, powering advanced analytics to support the desk, quants and technology stakeholders.
- Close collaboration with our Securities Lending and Repo platform leads will be essential as we build a unified, scalable and future‑proof inventory automation platform.
- Strong experience of engineering leadership in investment banking or markets, deep expertise in financing flows—including tri‑party, electronic trading and front‑office trade‑capture design—and a proven ability to lead high‑performing engineering teams in fast‑paced environments.

Accountabilities
- Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve project goals and meet organizational objectives.
- Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management and task prioritization to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within scope, time, and budget.
- Mentor and support team members' professional growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluation and enhancement of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize team productivity.
- Collaboration with business partners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
- Enforcement of technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
