Business Process Analyst - Advisor
About your role:
As a Business Process Analyst – Advisor, you will improve processes that support money movement and operational readiness across Payment Operations and Treasury Operations. You will partner with business unit leaders, technology teams, and other stakeholders to document workflows, design automation, and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive visibility. Your work will strengthen operational quality, reduce risk, and support excellent client and associate experiences.
What you'll do:
- Document current operational processes and end-to-end workflows for Payment Operations and Treasury Operations.
- Perform gap analyses to identify process, control, and tooling opportunities across operational teams.
- Recommend and track procedural improvements, including those requiring system or DOM changes, through completion.
- Define, implement, and monitor KPIs for operational processes to set and maintain clear client and associate expectations.
- Analyze KPI results, escalate when goals are not met, and recommend data-driven remediation actions.
- Identify opportunities for automation and re-architecture of tools that support operational processes and money movement activities.
- Write clear, testable business requirements, support user acceptance testing and product demos, and track implemented changes and resulting operational impact.
- Create and maintain operational knowledge content in ServiceNow, including knowledge articles, product FAQs, and learning materials for use by Learning and Development and operational teams.

Experience you'll need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in business process analysis or operational process improvement for payments, banking, or financial services, including experience working with money movement or payment operations.
- 5+ years of experience working with DPS products and services, including demonstrated understanding of how operational services affect clients and associates.
- Experience defining, implementing, and monitoring KPIs or similar metrics to measure operational quality and performance.
- Experience documenting processes, writing business requirements, and collaborating with product and technology teams on user acceptance testing.
- Experience using ServiceNow or a similar service management platform to create and maintain knowledge articles and operational documentation.
- Understanding of U.S. payment systems, including Automated Clearing House (ACH), card networks, and Early Warning Services (EWS) or similar capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executives.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives involving both business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience with DOM or similar workflow/backlog management tools supporting operational change.
- Experience designing and delivering content for associate or client training related to operational processes or tools.
How you'll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Salary Range
$100,000.00 - $165,600.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
