Develop and implement firmware for advanced NAND flash controllers and Solid State Drives (SSD). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compose, build, and test innovative firmware solutions. Triage and debug issues, perform failure analysis, and file detailed bug reports. Integrate firmware features with the latest NAND technology and backend ASIC HW architectures. Lead and mentor engineers, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area. Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded firmware development. Proficiency in Python and other scripting languages. Expertise with storage interfaces such as PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS. Proven ability to work independently and prioritize multiple priorities effectively. Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Experience in the storage industry, particularly with SSDs and non-volatile storage technologies. Knowledge of AI code development and analysis tools like Tabnine and Claude Code. Previous technical leadership or supervisory experience. Strong understanding of system and media architecture for NAND flash technology.
