Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Flightline Readiness Technical Inspector to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs routine pre-flight inspection of aircraft systems and components for conformance to operational and safety standards
- Completes pre-flight and post-flight checks through thorough inspection of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems
- Identifies issues or nonconformances affecting flight readiness. Rechecks work after maintenance or repair
- Supports preparing aircraft for flight and Airworthiness Certification
- Maintains inspection logs and writes inspection reports
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- 1+ year of experience with Production Flight Test inspection or technical inspection experience in accordance with DAPAM 738-751 on an Army aircraft
- Experience or training in applying shop math
- Able and willing to work in confined spaces
- Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working with the Apache aircraft
Level 4:
- 5+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

Summary pay range:
Level B: $62,900 - $85,100
Level C: $73,950 - $100,050
Shift differentials may be available for second, third, and/or weekend shifts
