Purpose: Provides support under supervision in the complex-by-nature assignments, which require criteria, initiative and the ability to solve problems, such as operations analysis, support in the balancing of lines, processes standardization, lean manufacturing, among others.

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
Trains groups of associates in department initiative.
Provides support in the use of lean manufacturing tools.
Provides information in the advance of the projects or activities to the area or project leaders.
Monitors the correct application of the standards operation procedures through periodical audits about the use of lean manufacturing tools (Lean audit & 5s audit).
Reports to the operational excellence manager any irregularities found in the audits.
Develops graphs, charts, schemes, drawings and presentations.
Develops and support the development of training material.
Generates purchase orders and follows the applicable procedures.
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures in regard of Environment, Health and Safety.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.

Provides general consulting in the use of lean manufacturing and VSM tools.
Provides information on the progress of projects or activities to area or project leaders.
Supports the development and preparation of 6 Sigma and Lean training materials.
Develop and analyze graphs, tables, diagrams, drawings and presentations. Develops and supports training material. Able to lead Kaizen and Suggestion Systems workshops and quantify savings.
Able to perform line balancing with minimal supervision.
Project updates in moments.
He is the point of contact with suppliers, generates purchase orders and ensures that applicable procedures are followed.
Ensures the execution of “visual factory” strategies.
Coordinates the preparation of visitor tours.
Lead and coordinate the cyclical and annual physical counts of inventory and fixed assets, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Technical career or incomplete engineering studies Preferably Graduate of Industrial Engineering.
From 4 to 6 years.
Knowledge of the English language preferably.
Lean Green Belt certification desirable. Knowledge in the medical products industry preferred. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or six sigma tools expected.
High level of creativity
Proactive
Ability to coordinate partners for time taking 6s audits and department activities.
Ability to use computer programs (Microsoft Office, Autocad, igrafx, Minitab, etc.).
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or six sigma tools expected
