Job Summary:
Supports process development, capacity expansion and new product/source introduction projects for the continuous improvement of the safety, quality, velocity and cost of manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical expertise and guidance in major manufacturing projects, working with internal/external suppliers to support/improve manufacturing productivity and cost effectiveness.
- Implementing major systems and the coordination of those systems with the total plant.
- Communicating with internal/external suppliers to analyze their current or proposed product/process designs to determine feasibility of using existing designs or modifying the designs to improve process and/or product. Providing regular project updates to stakeholders and process partners.
- Providing guidance to manufacturing engineers and operators to develop high quality products and processes.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Skills:
Capacity Planning & Management:
- Plan and forecast resources for product development.
- Advise on capacity planning cycles and evaluate strategies.
- Convert demand forecasts into production plans.
Computer-Aided Design & Engineering:
- Create and modify parts using CAD software.
- Use standard procedures for efficient design.
- Produce 2D/3D diagrams and update schematics.
Decision Making & Critical Thinking:
- Apply structured critical thinking to decisions.
- Gather data and document processes.
- Evaluate risks and prioritize key issues.
Engineering (Manufacturing):
- Assist with technical issues and specs.
- Handle routine engineering tasks and repairs.
- Follow standards and report challenges.
Project Management:
- Estimate costs and schedules.
- Organize and monitor projects.
- Manage risks, reviews, and communication.
Robotics & Computer-Controlled Machinery:
- Configure and troubleshoot robots.
- Identify automation opportunities.
- Support robot deployment analysis.
Technical Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Use diagnostic tools and analyze systems.
- Document technical issues and resolutions.
Additional information:
- This position will be in Reynosa, Tamaulipas
- This position is five-days a week in-office model
- This position will require travelling 10% working time (International).
