This position is accountable for the overall engineering technical, cost and schedule performance of the capability.

The candidate is expected to maintain clear and open communication with program and engineering management regarding status, staffing needs, and engineering projects.

The candidate will drive the use of best practices within the engineering team using Agile processes, tools and frameworks and will review capability artifacts and development practices for compliance with engineering principles, company and program standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.

Provide input to standard metrics packages to be used for program execution status, technical improvement, and manage customer status updates

Management of risk mitigation activities, schedule planning, and managing change requests associated with the capabilities

Manage the execution of assigned ECP effort(s) added to the capability

Coordinate and resolve multiple spiral and capability resource de-confliction across the Agile Release Train

Lead Team agile and other planning activities to ensure priority and maturity is achieved
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Experience managing and reporting costs, schedule and technical development on a large program exhibiting the ability to coordinate planning, execution, integration and completion of projects within your area of assigned responsibility

Proven project management experience as part of large DoD systems and capabilities under development
-
Must be able to demonstrate experience leading high-performance teams.

Strong Interpersonal, Presentation. Communication and Facilitation Skills
-
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

Active Project Management certification such as Project+. CAPM, or PMP (within 60 days of start) and active 8140 Compliant Certification such as: Security+
-
Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Must be able to travel to alternate work locations to execute job duties.
Qualifications We Prefer:

Command and control system application development - Previous experience with message translation software Automated test and pipeline development experience

Proficiency in Project Management Tools: Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms for scheduling, task management, and tracking project progress.

Agile Methodology Expertise: Strong understanding and application of Agile methodologies, including SCRUM, for iterative development and team collaboration.

Risk Management: Skilled in identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing proactive solutions to ensure project success.

Requirements Management: Experience in decomposing, prioritizing, and managing technical and functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
