Overview
The Access Control Technician will serve as the Client’s on‑site representative responsible for managing authorized access to all designated Electrical Rooms. This role ensures that only properly equipped and approved personnel are granted entry, in accordance with site safety standards and project protocols. The technician will maintain accurate documentation of all entries and exits, support safety compliance, and uphold strict control measures to protect personnel, equipment, and operations.

- Day Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM): $18.00/hr
- Night Shift (3:00 AM – 12:00 AM): $20.00/hr
- Overnight Shift (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM): $23.00/hr
OSHA 10 REQUIRED
Additional Samsung background will be performed along with ABM background and drug test
Responsibilities
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. PPE Compliance Verification
· Ensure all personnel requesting entry into the Electrical Rooms are equipped with the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
· Deny access to individuals not meeting PPE standards and provide guidance as needed.
· Communicate PPE expectations consistently and professionally.
2. Authorization Clearance
· Verify that all companies and individuals requesting access hold valid authorization.
· Confirm credentials against approved access lists or clearance documents.
· Report any discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to Site Management.
3. Access Log Management
· Manage, maintain, and oversee completion of accurate Electrical Room access logs.
· Ensure logs capture all required details, including:
o Personnel names
o Company
o Time of entry and exit
o Purpose of visit
Qualifications
· Support auditing needs by ensuring logs are neat, complete, and compliant with project documentation standards
· Prior experience in access control, security, or site‑safety support preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce safety and authorization protocols.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to maintain professionalism while interacting with multiple contractors and stakeholders.
· Familiarity with PPE and construction safety standards is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS
· Role requires consistent presence at the Electrical Room access point(s).
· May involve long periods of standing or monitoring entry areas.
· Must adhere to all site safety rules and regulations
Required:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
Preferred:
• 1 year of similar work experience in janitorial or construction environments
• Customer service experience
