Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Cost and Business Analysis Accountant to join the Business Resources tea, within Campo Largo Facility. In this role, you will manage new product costing and related activities in collaboration with global teams. You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and leading continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes.
What You Will Do:
Oversee the Cost Leadership Strategy for the facility, coordinating Cost Reduction initiatives to ensure Caterpillar competitiveness.
Support financial analysis for the introduction of new products (NPIs) and new sources (NSIs).
Coordinate the Normals/Abnormals cost process and lead standard cost updates, ensuring accuracy, governance, and alignment with corporate procedures.
Lead Investment Feasibility Studies for facility capital projects, including business case development, financial modeling, and recommendations aligned with enterprise capital governance.
Act as facility financial liaison with the Analytics CoE for Product Cost Monitor and Sourcing studies.
Prepare executive-level materials and present to senior leadership.
Support CBL and BCP leadership with strategic financial requests, delivering timely, data‑driven analysis to inform operational and investment decisions.
Deliver strategic financial insights, including scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and forward‑looking assessments to support business planning and risk evaluation.
Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on standardization, simplification, and automation as part of the Global Finance Strategy
What you will have – Skills:

Strong Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving skills: Able to interpret complex financial data, trends and patterns. Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. Analyzes and discusses alternatives with multiple stakeholders. Anticipates special issues and considerations for effective decision-making.
Initiative

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Experience in financial analysis, costs, product structures or procurement activities.
Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Pre-advanced English
Top Candidates will have::
Proven experience with analytical and automation tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Python).
Focus on process improvement, leading initiatives and projects with the team.
Project management / Black Belt.
MBA, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or similar.
Advanced / Fluent English
Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
