Job Summary:
The Quality Manager plays a critical role in driving a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization. This position leads the development and ongoing improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) while overseeing High Performance Molded Products (HPMP) and Supplier Quality for on‑site manufacturing operations.
With direct accountability for daily quality performance, audit compliance (CQMS / ISO / QMS), and supplier nonconformance, the Quality Manager partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Compliance teams to resolve cross‑functional quality issues. This role also leads and develops a team of Quality professionals, using data‑driven insights, risk management, and corrective actions to prevent issues and drive reliable, high‑performing outcomes across the business.
What You Will Do:
- Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements
- Establishes quality objectives, metrics, and KPIs, using data to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
- Oversees internal, customer, and third‑party audits, ensuring effective execution and timely closure of findings
- Drives root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
- Partners with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams to embed quality throughout the product and process lifecycle
- Reviews and maintains quality documentation, procedures, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Leads risk assessment and change management activities related to quality and process performance
- Provides guidance and training on quality standards, tools, and best practices, promoting a strong quality culture
- Communicates quality performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership and key stakeholders
Education requirement:
- Candidates should possess a Bachelors degree or demonstrate equivalent knowledge through professional expertise.

Demonstrates strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis skills to identify and address technical, process, and program challenges. Develops practical, actionable solutions using data and cross‑functional input. Collaborates with stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive actions, minimizing risk and supporting continuous improvement.
Quality Management System (QMS):
Applies working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), process compliance, and documentation standards. Supports quality planning, verification, and continuous improvement activities throughout the program lifecycle. Partners with engineering and validation teams to ensure deliverables meet quality, regulatory, and performance requirements.
Relationship Management:
Builds and maintains strong stakeholder relationships across engineering, business, and global teams. Uses effective communication, collaboration, and influence to align priorities and manage expectations. Establishes trust through transparent communication, consistent follow‑through, and reliable program execution.
Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week at the Boonville, MO office.
Domestic relocation assistance is NOT available for this position.

This position may require up to 10% travel.
Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
