Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations during the evening hours. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage a team of warehouse associates, and ensure that all processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities during the 2nd shift, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational goals while fostering a positive team environment.
- Monitor inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation.
- Oversee process improvements in warehouse distribution workflows to enhance efficiency, safety, and accuracy.
- Manage materials handling equipment operations, including forklifts and other mechanical tools, ensuring safe and proper use in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory control procedures to prevent loss or discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with logistics partners and 3PL providers to coordinate shipping & receiving schedules and optimize warehouse space utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to heavy lifting, OSHA standards, and overall warehouse safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or team management within a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse distribution processes.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts and mechanical handling equipment; certification preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), particularly SAP or similar platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards aligned with OSHA regulations.
- Mechanical aptitude for understanding materials handling equipment operation and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
