Overview
Partnering with site operations, the Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for all aspects of client billing for Applied Materials and all areas of financial reporting for ABM. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial statements for the ABM client partner. Duties include managing deadlines, overseeing daily transactions, preparing the general ledger, financial reporting, year-end audit support, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
Pay: $110,000 - $130,000

Responsibilities
- At the portfolio level, manage the monthly billing process by preparing and validating billing files, coordinating Operations and the client to finalize charges, and ensuring invoices are accurately submitted through ABM and AR portal within required deadlines. Oversee AR activities to ensure timely payment, track above-base work and approvals, and resolve PO, short-pay, and invoicing issues.
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close, including preparation of reporting package and related supporting schedules.
- Partnering with Operations team, lead closing month-end discussions with ABM Corporate Finance and the client, providing clear and comprehensive explanations of all variances.
- Accounts Receivable and Collections, working in close partnership with the Operations teams
- Ensure the monthly and quarterly account reconciliations are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in annual planning, support budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate with client partner managers to achieve overall client objectives.
- Responds to inquiries from the client finance leadership team and other client partner managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
- Advises client partner and onsite ABM staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
- Work with the client partner finance team to ensure a clean and timely year end audit.
- Ad-hoc reporting and other job-related duties as assigned.
- Assist in developing and implementing standardization, new procedures, and features to improve workflow efficiency for the finance team and onsite departments.
- Handle complex financial reporting requirements in a fast‑paced, deadline‑sensitive environment.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance required
- MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- Four to six years prior experience in financial reporting/general ledger area.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills (vlookups, pivot tables, ability to handle large data sets and complex formulas, demonstrated knowledge of Power BI and data visualization)
- Experience with Oracle or other large, automated accounting system a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills.
