We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our team. This vital role involves leading efforts to enhance healthcare quality, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality management practices, contributing to our commitment to exemplary patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Monitoring & Data Analysis
- Collect, validate, and analyze performance and quality data (ED throughput and quality data, Incident reporting data, Provider Performance Data) from various internal and external sources.
- DNV regulatory preparation
- Facilitates and tracks completion of quality data to external sources (P4P BCBS,MBQIP, MICAH QN, HQR, Q-Centrix ect..)
- Responsible for developing and maintaining organizational dashboard of key performance metrics
- Support Director in development of dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate trends, findings, and recommendations.
- Support Director in preparing data for Quality Task force and Board Quality.
- Monitor quality indicators, key performance metrics, and improvement targets.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Incident reporting daily oversight
- Internal review facilitation
- Support policy workflows
Process Improvement & Project Coordination
- Facilitate quality improvement initiatives using methodologies such as PDSA, Lean or similar frameworks.
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of improvement projects through internal audits and PIP.
- Tracking progress of departmental corrective action plans.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary improvement teams and meetings for internal audits and PIP.
- Assist with Emergency Preparedness coordination
Compliance & Accreditation
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards (DNV)
- Participate in audits, accreditation preparation, and policy reviews.
- Maintain documentation required for compliance and quality reporting.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc quality reports for leadership committees and stakeholders.
- Maintain quality-related records, databases, and tracking systems.
- Document quality improvement activities and outcomes for internal and external reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years relevant hospital experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with data tracking and reporting tools
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in quality improvement, data analysis, compliance, or related roles
- Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards relevant to the organization.

Working Conditions
- Office-based environment
- Monday thru Friday 8 hour shifts

Salary commensurate with experience
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
