Senior Enterprise Application Systems Analyst Location: ONSITE in Cedar Rapids, IA
Duration: 6+ month contract
Responsibilities:

- Design, document, and implement new enterprise application solutions for the Utilities department.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing and new software applications.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues impacting application performance.
- Create and maintain detailed application and program documentation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with cross divisional teams to perform root cause analysis of complex issues.
- Consult with internal teams, management, and vendors on security considerations for short and long term initiative.
- Work with vendors and business users to develop and implement software integrations.
- Analyze business requirements to support system development and modification.
- Assist with planning, feasibility studies, and requirements analysis for proposed systems.
- Troubleshoot and implement solutions for non enterprise applications.
- Assist in writing technical specifications and ensuring quality standards for systems development.
Qualifications:
-
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and
- 7–10 years of experience working with and maintaining enterprise level applications OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience (one year of relevant experience may substitute for one year of education).
- Required: Extensive experience with Oracle CCB and Oracle Analytics Publisher.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with process design and logical workflow analysis.
- Experience with in depth configuration, code analysis, and output review.
- Extensive experience with Oracle technologies and utilities related systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
