Contracting & Cost Management

Lead supplier contract negotiation from initial quotation through final approval and signature
-
Coordinate negotiation team engagement, obtain requisite approvals through a gated passport process

Maintain contracts and ensure accurate pricing in SAP
-
Flow down contract elements to the tactical organizations for order placement
-
Develop and support unique quote packages and contract awards for supplier designed items
-
Coordinate between suppliers and technical teams to support and lead supplier cost reduction activities
-
Achieve commodity cost reduction goals through negotiated cost reduction and/or teaming with Engineering for technical change cost solutions

Responsible for financial analysis and coordinating with Finance for all cost activity in support of monthly Purchasing Operations Review (POR) meetings with Senior Executive Management

Maintain a robust and accurate pricing forecast in conjunction with Finance
-
Responsible for development of slide deck, and presentation of annual Strategic Sourcing Review Board (SSRB) to PW Senior Management

Develop and maintain part family specific sourcing strategies
-
Identify and evaluate new and existing suppliers for potential consideration in future sourcing decisions

Collaborate with Engineering Technology Managers. Advanced Programs and support various advanced sourcing initiatives
-
Understand and proactively engage in the emerging technological landscape needs for incorporation into the SSRB process
-
Develop long term strategic relationships with suppliers’ leadership team that can be leveraged to positively impact business results
-
Lead and organize activities between suppliers and P&W Program and Technical employees; including attending supplier meeting with technical and program teams that involve tactical transition or production startup discussions

Alignment with the procurement organization and provide support of Supply Management tactical issues when assistance is requested

Ensuring compliance with Export, Ethics, CORE, legal and corporate policies and initiatives
Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience working with cross functional/cross business unit teams on high visibility projects with strong business acumen

Ability to understand business processes and identifying and mitigating risk as well as developing change management plans

Strong knowledge of SAP and Supply Chain processes

Supplier management experience (PO placement, proposal reviews, Best Value Source Selections, Competition)

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
