Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring a Senior Delivery Center Quality System Specialist (Level 4) to help support the teamin North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st Shift.
This position will be focused on flight line operations and quality processes to include but not limited to Airworthiness Inspections, Flight Performance / Flight Squawks, and Aircraft Ticketing.
The position will require data analysis and presentation of data in multiple leadership forums.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions.
Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.
Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
Participates in the analysis of the impact of production system changes to Quality inspection processes, while acting as a liaison across functional groups (FAA, ODA, etc.) on quality related issues and coordinating efforts to improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
Evaluates and implements inspection processes that comply with company and regulatory agency requirements.
Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives
Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
Works under minimal direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, South Carolina.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)
3+ years of experience working with/involved with Corrective Actions or Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
5+ years of experience working Aerospace, Fabrication and/or Manufacturing
5+ years of experience in analyzing and presenting data
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
787 Program experience
Experience with Velocity, REDARS, and/or CMES
Experience with Tableau dashboards and SQL coding requirements
Experience in flight line/flight operations
Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

Summary pay range: $117,300 - $158,700
