Raytheon – Naval Systems & Sustainment (NSS) / Ship Systems Integration & Sustainment (SSI&S) is looking for an Associate Director, Program Management candidate. The candidate would be responsible for leading the Ship Systems Integration (SSI) portfolio, including the Zumwalt Class Destroyer, Polar Security Cutter, and other ship class C4I programs. This role is also responsible for developing and executing a portfolio growth strategy to expand into exciting new areas such as combat system transformation, new combat system development, and increasing Raytheon-provided C5ISR solutions and services across numerous new domestic and international ship classes.
The ideal candidate would possess a deep and varied technical background in support of contract capture and portfolio growth. Associate Director - Program Manager, with direct reports, responsible for the execution of approximately $200M in annual sales.

Establish program plans, metrics, schedules, budgets, business cases and lead the Program Management Team (PMT) to ensure on time IOT (contractual) execution within schedule and budget.

Responsibilities also include Raytheon command media compliance, RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM) Gating Requirements, Estimate at Completion (EAC) approvals, along with weekly / monthly Depot and customer (internal / external) reviews.

Ensure that all functional areas, including Program, finance, quality, Logistics, operations are aligned to perform in a coordinated and effective manner to meet business, program, and customer (internal & external) commitments.

Proactively identify risks and opportunities with the Program Management Team and maintain a comprehensive and regularly updated register.
-
Facilitate and drive empowerment amongst the Team, recognize achievements, and create a highly motivated Team to ensure customer commitments are met.

Demonstrate continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.

Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to build a strategic blueprint for future Combat System Integration opportunities

Working with a cross functional Team generating proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).

Director level reporting in an SSIS business support role.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience

Prior program management / leadership management experience

Prior experience leading cross-functional teams (i.e.: Engineering, Quality, Finance etc.)

Strong customer relationship experience (Internal & External)
-
Program Management Level 5 Certification or equivalent.

Strong Financial and Business acumen
-
Prior Profit & Loss experience as well as ownership

Prior experience with Proposal and Basis of Estimates (BOE) or equivalent
Qualifications We Prefer:

Well-organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Strong communications skills.

Managed Earned Value (EV) programs and complex schedules, using Microsoft Project and related tools.

Experience with Jira, Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE), and RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM).

Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office suite.

Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs.

Experience with business and/or program management tools or systems.

Demonstrated success creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, internal / external customers, government representatives, and peers.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
