Direct supervision of quality technicians and quality inspectors. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach Quality Technicians and quality inspectors
- Conduct quarterly coaching sessions with shift production hourly employees to promote personal development.
- Nonconformance & Corrective (CAPA): Lead NCMR process, root cause analysis (5whys, BD), and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Provide Supplier Quality Support: Coordinate with SQE, initiate SCARs, and track supplier performance.
- Monitor KPIs, compliant, scrap, and rebraze rates across all value streams and appropriately react to negative trends.
- Ensure compliance to drawing specs and support capability studies (Cp, Cpk).
- Support ISO 9001 audits and maintain proper documentation.
- Lead Kaizen events and drive process improvements.
- Provide training and performance feedback.
- Ensure accountability and communication across teams.
- Provide hands-on training and guidance to employees regarding safe work practices.
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks regularly.
- Report incidents, hazards, and near-misses to management promptly.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- 3–5 years of manufacturing quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, SPC, and root cause tools.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
Skills and Competencies
- Proven leadership experience and capability.
- Good team spirit, well developed interpersonal skills.
- Good command of written and oral English language.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, internet and email
- Ability to self-motivate and possess independent problem solving.
- Positive attitude and be committed to achieving business excellence.
