You will be supporting a Raytheon program in a classified environment as a Linux System Administrator. Responsibilities include the monitoring and support of systems that are operational 24x7 and which occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.

You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, accurately document issues in logging and discrepancy reporting tools, support system engineering groups as needed for ongoing analysis and integration efforts, design/implement updates to satisfy requirements flowed down from engineering, and upgrade existing COTS products to targeted baselines.

This position serves as a help desk team member in a customer-facing environment, so the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with other teams and with the customer is of utmost importance, as you will be expected to uphold our excellent reputation.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years or prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and 3 years of experience

Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with poly security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

(on start date) Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND

OS experience in UNIX, specifically Linux RedHat, Windows

Experience with virtual/cloud computing technologies such as Citrix, VMware, and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Experience with storage products from Oracle, Dell/EMC (e.g., Isilon/PowerScale), and/or NetApp

Must have Cloudera experience

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
