Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and capable professional to lead the delivery of Salesforce initiatives with lower to moderate complexity. This role is responsible for independently managing assigned projects from planning through delivery, while operating within established delivery frameworks, tools, and standards. You will own day-to-day execution, coordination, and communication for your projects. You may partner with senior project managers on larger or more complex initiatives but will retain responsibility for leading your own workstreams or projects. This is a remote role that will require workdays to start at 9 am ET, including participation in daily stand-up calls with the Product Owner Group.
Responsibilities
- Lead Salesforce projects of low to moderate complexity from initiation through closeout, with accountability for scope, timeline, and delivery outcomes
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and document deliverables for assigned initiatives
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reporting using established project management tools and templates
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely execution
- Create, refine, and manage user stories, including backlog grooming and prioritization activities
- Facilitate or actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint reviews, and product demos for assigned projects
- Develop and maintain testing scripts for internal users and business stakeholders, coordinating testing cycles and feedback
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively managing resolution within defined authority and escalating when needed
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with approved scope and business objectives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including technical documentation, meeting notes, and decision logs
- Perform triage on incoming demand and user support requests, assigning work to appropriate technical team members and tracking progress
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones clearly to stakeholders using standard reporting formats
Skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to partner or escalate on more complex issues
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Lightning and Service Cloud preferred
- Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira, Monday.com, SmartSheet, or similar platforms
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or similar collaboration tools
- Exposure to Agile methodologies
Experience
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or equivalent hands-on Salesforce experience preferred, with approximately 1 to 3 years of project or delivery experience.
- Experience independently managing projects or workstreams in an Agile or hybrid delivery environment
- Agile certification is a plus but not required
