Associate Director, U.S. Marketing Ophthalmology HCP Field Execution

Position Overview
We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, U.S. Marketing Ophthalmology Field Execution and HCP Engagement. This is an exciting time for a talented and passionate marketing professional to join our launch team for our investigational novel treatments.
This position is a hybrid work model and will report to the Director of US HCP Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and operationalize launch execution plan for the sales organization - including, strategic objectives and KPIs, development of training plans and resources (including sampling), and development and monitoring of key insights
- Stand up and drive launch readiness of field sales for insight gathering and product launch
- Responsible for all launch sales meeting planning and execution - coordinating with brand team, operations, and sales
- Partner with L&D to develop training plan and execution
- Ability to communicate complex clinical data to healthcare professionals (HCP), field sales, and other customer facing organizations.
- Drive alignment between brand strategy and the field sales team to ensure marketing initiatives effectively support needs of customers and to ensure executional excellence
- Develop and own HCP engagement plan, leveraging insights to develop HCP end-to-end journey
- Identify and champion key capabilities or innovation needed to achieve customer engagement plan and field launch readiness
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across CATs to align on integrated customer engagement strategies, partnering closely with the field sales team and other customer facing teams to ensure cohesive, customer centric execution that drives impact.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to structure and integrate field-based insights into the Planning and Insights Engine (PIE), ensuring data-driven decision-making aligns with strategic objectives
- Monitor and adjust strategies based on performance metrics, market dynamics, and customer feedback, utilizing regional, local, and national data to refine engagement strategies and maximize impact.
- Collaborate with the Customer Agile Team (CAT) and Sales Leadership in preparation, planning, and ongoing integration related to product promotion and customer engagement.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
- Preferred: MBA
Required Experience And Skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry or a minimum of 4 years of combined strategic U.S. Healthcare Professional (HCP) marketing or U.S. Field Sales experience.
- Excellent project management skills, including prioritizing activities, optimizing resources, establishing deadlines, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through experience in strategy and marketing communications.
- Experience contributing as a team member in brand or sales-specific projects and initiatives.
- Proven ability to drive sales execution and deliver on KPIs
- Strong collaborative skills with cross-functional leadership teams, with the ability to align organizational objectives and drive successful outcomes.
- Capacity to foster a positive team culture.
Preferred Experience And Skills
- Pre-launch, launch and disease awareness marketing experience.
- Management experience in sales organizations or other customer facing teams.
- Familiarity with OPDP submission strategy and process.
- Proven ability to optimize campaigns and make data-driven decisions for improved performance.
- Experience in or with payor access, reimbursement and/or patient access teams.
- Experience working in an Agile environment or Scrum framework.
- Experience leading promotional assets through the medical, legal, regulatory review process
- Agency management skills
- Knowledge/experience in healthcare regulatory, and legal compliance policies
- Veeva/PromoMats experience
- SAP experience

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The salary range for this role is
$142,400.00 - $224,100.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
