As a Senior Treasury Manager – Corporate Funding / Capital Markets, you will play a critical role within Caterpillar’s global corporate finance organization, supporting external funding activities, capital markets execution, and enterprise balance sheet strategy. Based at Caterpillar’s corporate headquarters in Irving, TX, this position partners closely with senior treasury leadership, the executive office, and key internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong liquidity, financial flexibility, and disciplined capital deployment.
This role provides the opportunity to lead a high‑performing team, manage complex bank and rating agency relationships, and contribute directly to Caterpillar’s long‑term financial strength.
What You Will Do:
- Manage and maintain relationships across a diverse global corporate bank group, ensuring enterprise funding, liquidity, and operational needs are met
- Provide stewardship of the enterprise revolving credit facility, including ongoing analysis of banking partner returns and utilization
- Analyze and develop recommendations related to enterprise balance sheet optimization, capital structure, and liquidity management
- Determine the timing, structure, and execution of funding actions, including debt issuance and other borrowing instruments
- Work closely with corporate banking partners to execute bond issuances and other capital markets transactions
- Maintain regular dialogue and financial model alignment with credit rating agencies
- Leverage financial derivatives, including interest rate and total return swaps, to hedge variable interest rate and equity exposures
- Coordinate with Corporate Accounting, Tax, Legal, and Corporate Cash to implement optimal internal lending structures, equity contributions, and global liquidity planning
- Support strategy and execution for short‑term and strategic cash deployment, including recommendations related to dividends and share repurchase programs
- Partner with the Employee Benefits team to evaluate and recommend pension and other benefit contributions
- Oversee preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting materials for senior leadership, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley, SEC, and other internal and external control and reporting requirements
- Lead and develop the External Funding team, including three direct reports, with a focus on performance, coaching, and professional development
What You Have:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field, with 8-10+ years of progressively responsible finance experience, including 5+ years across debt capital markets, banking relationships, liquidity management, trade finance, financial analysis, and/or strategic financial planning.
- Decision Making & Critical Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex situations, apply informed judgment, and make effective, timely decisions
- Communicating Complex Concepts: Ability to summarize, explain important details, leveraging audience‑appropriate language
- Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Demonstrated commitment to precision, data integrity, and high‑quality execution
- Team Management: Knowledge of effective team building techniques; ability to form and manage effective teams
What Will Set You Apart:
- Previous people management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and developing high‑performing finance professionals
- Experience working closely with senior executives and influencing outcomes through expertise and data‑driven insights

- Travel expectation: Up to 15%
Summary Pay Range:
$159,120.00 - $238,680.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
