Contract Technical Recruiter – JLL Technologies
What this job involves:
JLL Technologies is seeking an experienced Contract Technical Recruiter to support our AMER Engineering teams during a critical growth phase. You'll manage full-cycle recruitment for technical roles, partnering closely with hiring managers to source, attract, and close top engineering talent across software engineering, AI, and machine learning disciplines. This contract role offers the opportunity to make immediate impact in a fast-paced technology environment while working with some of the most innovative roles in commercial real estate technology. You'll have direct access to leadership and autonomy to drive the recruiting process from sourcing through offer, building a strong talent pipeline while delivering an exceptional candidate experience that positions JLL Technologies as an employer of choice for elite technical talent.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles including software engineers, AI specialists, and machine learning engineers, with emphasis on hiring manager partnership and candidate advocacy throughout the process
Proactively source passive candidates using advanced methods including LinkedIn Talent Suite, hireEZ, Boolean searches, and other sourcing tools to build a robust and diverse talent pool
Serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers, understanding complex technical requirements and advising on competitive hiring strategies, market conditions, and talent availability
Facilitate interview processes and hiring decisions by coordinating with interview panels, hiring managers, and leadership while ensuring structured evaluation and timely feedback
Drive the offer process in partnership with hiring managers, leadership, and HR teams, managing negotiations and closing candidates in competitive hiring situations
Create a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle by maintaining clear communication, setting expectations, and providing timely updates to attract and secure niche technical talent
Track and action on recruitment metrics including conversion rates, time-to-hire, and source effectiveness to refine processes, implement best practices, and demonstrate recruiting impact
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of recruiting experience with demonstrated focus on technical roles, including software engineering, data science, or related technology disciplines
Hands-on experience successfully recruiting for Software Engineers, AI/ML engineers, or other highly specialized technology sectors with proven track record of closing difficult-to-fill positions
Proven ability to source and hire passive candidates in fast-paced, agile environments where speed and quality are equally critical
Strong full-cycle recruiting experience managing requisitions from intake through offer acceptance, whether in agency or in-house capacity
Excellent negotiation and communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and manage complex offer negotiations
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail
Immediate availability or ability to start within 2 weeks
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Workday (ATS), LinkedIn Talent Suite, and hireEZ or similar sourcing platforms
Experience hiring for global teams including near-shore and offshore engineering talent across multiple time zones
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with ability to establish credibility quickly with technical hiring managers and candidates
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment
Experience working in a contract or consulting capacity with track record of delivering results in defined timeframes

Contract Details:
This is a contract position with duration of 6 months (specific duration to be determined based on business needs). Competitive hourly rate or project fee commensurate with experience. Remote work flexibility with potential for contract extension based on business needs and performance.
This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
