Overview
The Baggage Services Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the airport baggage service office, ensuring efficient handling of delayed, lost, and damaged luggage claims. This role supervises office staff, resolves escalated passenger concerns, and ensures compliance with airport procedures and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily baggage service office operations
- Oversee processing and documentation of lost, delayed, and damaged baggage claims
- Serve as escalation point for customer concerns
- Coordinate with airport departments to resolve baggage issues
- Maintain accurate records and utilize computer tracking systems
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
· Supervisory and/or airport customer service experience preferred
· Basic computer proficiency required
· Strong customer service and communication skills
· Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
