Description:What We’re Doing:As a member of the Radars, Electronic Warfare, and Anti-submarine Warfare Systems (REAS) Strategy & Business Development (S&BD) team, the Maritime EW (MEW) Business Development Analyst Senior Staff will support strategy development, pipeline growth, and new business capture in the domestic and international customer markets with specific focus on maritime passive sensing and electronic attack within U.S. and partner Navies.
• Serve as interface for collaboration / teaming with small and large businesses; execute teaming process actions IAW established LM legal policies and procedures
• Integrate with and partner within the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area (BA) and with other LM BAs (Aeronautics, Missiles and Fire Control, Space) to support development of collaborative market strategies and long-range plans
• Represent MEW for integrated process teams (IPT), working groups, campaigns, and/or other cross-business area (BA) BD efforts
• Coordinate as needed with LM Government Affairs (LMGA), Global BD & Strategy (GBDS), Corporate Engineering and Technology (CE&T), and others as required
The Work:• Support pursuit of domestic and international MEW via the following activity:
o Understanding and aligning customer mission needs with LM capabilities through customer briefings, workshops, and/or demonstrations
o Identifying, qualifying new business opportunities consistent with LM growth strategies ; managing progress / information via LM’s Opportunity Hub
o Budgeting New Business Fund (NBF) expenditures for support to marketing, bids, proposals, keep-sold efforts
o Responding to Requests for Information / Solutions / Proposals and closing on new business orders
o Development of material for MEW new business reviews (NBR) that align with REAS higher-level NBRs.
o Planning and co-development of Long-Range Plan (LRP) and Strategic Forecast Model (SFM) orders with Finance & Business Operations (F&BO)
o Development of material for the MEW Monthly Execution Review (MER) Establishing and executing contact plans
o Representing LM MEW at conferences and trade shows, working with LM Communications, LMGA, Corporate S&BD, CE&T and others as required
o Establishing and executing win and growth strategies and investment plans.

Basic Qualifications:Candidate should have insight into the defense market, demonstrated ability to assess approaches and candidate strategies, prior experience in business development, and – at minimum - an active Secret clearance. Candidate should have prior experience managing people and resources.
• 10+ years of business development and/or defense operational experience.
• Understanding of extant and developing RF-based sensing and electronic attack capabilities
• Self-motivated; able to operate with minimal guidance and succeed in a highly competitive environment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Desired Skills:• Broad strategic thinker with strong understanding of non-kinetic missile defense markets with established relationships among US stakeholders and key international partners
• DOD Acquisition experience, including competitive source selection under FAR and middle-tier-of-acquisition rules
• Significant experience in RF passive sensing and electronic attack capabilities / technologies
• Ability to work across a geographically dispersed organization with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• International marketing / capture experience: Japan, United Kingdom, Canada, Korea, Australia, New Zealand

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
