Description:You will be the Systems Engineer for the F-35 MVDL (Multiple Vehicle Development Lab) which is responsible for multiple MIC (Manned Interceptor Cockpit) Simulators that function in a single ship and multiple ship configurations operating in a dynamic environment testing the various capabilities of the aircraft.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the F‑35 MVDL system integration, requirement verification, and scenario testing that emulates the real aircraft. You will support daily operational tasks across multiple MVDL labs, including simulation testing, defect analysis, integration activities, and documentation creation.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to review user and software requirements documentation.
- Design and execute test cases based on analyzed requirements and the established test strategy.
- Develop and validate both automated and manual testing procedures.
- Document defects using a bug‑tracking tool and manage the resolution process until closure.
- Create comprehensive test documentation, including test specifications and impact assessments.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
