Description:You will be the Building Management System Controls Engineer - Level 3 for the Facilities Engineering team which is responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining the largest building‑management control system at Lockheed Martin’s Fort Worth campus.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Building Management System Controls Engineer - Level 3 you will be responsible for creating and sustaining sophisticated control networks that monitor and regulate HVAC, electrical distribution, fire‑safety, and security across 130 buildings.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Program and configure building automation controllers, sensors, and actuators for HVAC and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot system faults, evaluate sensor malfunctions using diagnostic tools, and communicate issues to a wide range of customers.
- Optimize control logic for chillers and industrial equipment to improve energy efficiency and reliability.
- Create and modify control graphics, generate trending reports, and configure alarm notifications for facility monitoring.
- Coordinate with the Facilities Engineering team to commission new control systems, integrate equipment upgrades, and document all configuration changes.

You are an experienced controls professional with deep knowledge of multiple building‑automation platforms. Your ability to design reliable, 24 × 7 control solutions, solve complex technical problems, and collaborate across large engineering teams makes you a critical partner in sustaining facilities that support national‑security missions.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.Basic Qualifications:•Proficiency with Building Management Control Systems (Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Siemens, or Trane)
•Programming Language and configuration set-up
• Experience reading and interpreting control schematics, point lists, and sequence of operations
• Understanding of HVAC systems, electrical equipment, and mechanical systems operation
Desired Skills:•Licensed Professional Engineer
• Strong troubleshooting skills using laptops, network analyzers, and field calibration equipment.
•Familiar with Siemens Building Management Controls Systems
•PPCL Programming Experience
• Experience with network protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP communications
•Fire Alarm Experience
•Production Line Automation Experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
